Kheer Ganga (3050 meters) lies at the extreme end of Parvati valley and the last inhibited village while trekking to pin valley via Pin-Parvati pass. Kheerganga's panoramic skies and vast greenery are a much-needed delight to the trekker's eyes and especially the tired legs. It is a holy place with a hot water spring, a small temple of Lord Shiva and a bathing tank. It makes a rare combination for any trekker to bath in hot spring water when everything is covered by snow.

The Kasol to Kheerganga trek is an invigorating journey, which not only unveils the stunning terrain of the Himalayas, but also gives you a chance to learn about the interesting culture of the people living here. We will begin this Kheerganga trek from Kasol, which is among the most famous hill stations in the Pin Parvati Valley. From here, you will be taken to the hamlet of Barshaini to begin the on-foot journey. The 12-km trail from here provides you with ample opportunities to explore the natural bounties of the region. On the way, you will find numerous charming waterfalls that will convince you with their allure to take a picture. One sight of the astonishing serpent-shaped waterfall of Rudra Nag will give you a new perspective on nature. These splendid waterfalls are among the highlights of the Kheerganga trek.All your tiredness of the hike will be washed away with a sight of the mystical hot springs of Kheerganga. You can step in it to tackle the cool weather. The one-of-a-kind experience of relaxing in a hot spring while admiring vistas of snow-capped peaks will remain with you forever as memories. 1. Make sure you carry warm clothes along with you no matter during whichever season you are travelling in.
2. Be always prepared with your trekking gear and equipment.
3. Carrying your own medication and a good pair of shoes is a must.

5. Also carry raingear along as weather at higher altitude changes at every moment.

Walk by the road from Tosh to Barshaini, a small village in the valley which is where you start the hike in the forest. Cross the village of Nakthan and the temple of Rudra Nag, both ideal places to take short breaks on the way to KheerGanga which is where youcan spend the night in basic tented accomodation.
